Gracie is loaded with black and dark genetics, and we fully expect her to produce balck crias when bred to black. Gracie Lee has very correct conformation with straight legs, a good bite, and level topline. Her fleece is very high luster and is a solid non-hairy Grade 4, the best for yarn and sock production. On top of that, Gracie sheared a 4 lb blanket in May 2014, making her a dense and significant production girl. Gracie was only shown in 2011, placing 1st at the Empire Alpaca Show and 2nd at the extremely competitive Best of the US Alpaca Show.
Gracie's dam is Our Peruvian Shillelagh, a beautiful true black dam by Aurora's Borealis. Shillelagh is a top foundation dam for producing black and grey crias with heavy bone, outstanding coverage and fine fleece. She sheared a 3 lb, 7 oz fleece in 2015 at the age of 12. She has had 5 female crias in a row: 2 black, 2 grey, and one light fawn. She is a good mother, looking out for her daughters and even their crias.
Gracie's sire, Chip's Peruvian Black Mail, is a full Peruvian true black herdsire with very dense, lustrous, twisted locks. He has perfect confirmation and has been producing some phenomenal show winning offspring in a variety of colors. All of them are suri offspring with super nice locks and luster.
This beautiful was bred to Baker's King of Peru in June 2015, but she reabsorbed over the winter. She is currently open and is ready to breed.
Gracie Lee is currently residing at Wild Rose Suri Ranch in Havre de Grace, MD and can be seen there. She is offered for sale in the Sensational Suri Genetics Sale.
